My 1990's Comedy Shows of Note

I have always been a fan of TV Shows for as long as I can remember. Although I do enjoy most of the genres, Comedy TV shows or sitcoms has always been my favorite. I guess it's because there's this element in a good Comedy TV shows that leaves me feeling good and refreshed - something I don't find often in other genres.

Having watched my fair share of comedy TV Shows since childhood, some with the whole family where in we would all end up laughing, it would be almost impossible to list all the 1990's comedy shows that made an impression on me. So instead, I would only list those that I loved watching back then and would probably still love to watch (again) today. Well, here they are..

Uhm. *Ahem* "She was working in a bridal shop in Flushing, Queens. 'Til her boyfriend kicked her out in one of those crushing scenes." That's right it's The Nanny - my first ever sitcom. This show with Fran and the rest of the family is just hilarious, not to mention the great chemistry between Fran and Maxwell.

This next one is probably one of the most underrated and unappreciated sitcom of all time - Boston Common. I loved watching this lighthearted comedy show as a kid. The main character of the show, Boyd, is extremely funny and unforgettable. Frankly, I'm still surprised that not a lot of people like this show.

And lastly, Spin City. This sitcom is probably my all time favorite. Using a serious topic (politics) as a theme in a comedy show was just ingenious. The casts were amazing, especially Mike and Paul, you'd be laughing hard every time the two are in the scene.

That's it for now. The shows I've listed are not necessarily the best TV comedy Shows of the 90's, but they're definitely noteworthy and unique in their own way.
